OBONGAWAN GLORY EKPO; LEADING THE DRIVE TO REMEDIATE POVERTY AND CHANGE THE FACE OF REPRESENTATION IN ETINAN FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

We no longer have to explain the untold economic hardship of our people because poverty, starvation, and involuntary joblessness now appear to be permanent elements within our society. 

Consequently, a significant number of our young people now live with relatively low self-esteem and many families have lost the drive to strive for economic independence.

The majority of our people struggle to meet their basic needs and cannot afford an acceptable standard of living. 

While leadership is often blamed for these setbacks, our very own choice of leaders is what truly counts in our society today. 

Unarguably, the upcoming general election should be the most important concern of every politically conscious person.  

As a perspicacious and detribalized grassroots politician, one driven by the economic emancipation of her people, and a spartan manager who is generally reputed for Excellence and Philanthropy, Obongawan Glory Ekpo will bring about a representation in Etinan Federal Constituency where the human capital will be harnessed properly and empowered to birth creative wealth proliferation which will bolster the moribund and the suffocating economic atmosphere.

Her office will be intentional about creating an enabling environment for wealth creation and poverty remediation for her people, the students, market women, and the downtrodden inclusive.

As a people with a collective goal, we must always bring our consciousness and strides against the challenges of bad and selfish leadership.

Enough of poverty amid a panoply of resources. Enough of re-employing retired politicians who failed us in their previous offices.

With Glory Ekpo, a new lease of life's freshness shall be experienced in Etinan, Nsit Ibom, and Nsit Ubium.

Akan Okon vs. Umo Eno: Prof Jideoni petitions security agencies against blogger for libel

Professor Jideoni Charles, a Professor of Professor of Graphognomy (Handwriting Analysis), Professor of English Language, and a linguist, has petitioned security agencies against an Uyo based blogger, Wisdom Bassey, over alleged libel. Prof Jideoni had carried out forensic investigation into the West African Examination Council certificate tendered by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Pastor Umo Eno, before the Federal High Court sitting in Uyo, in his case against governorship aspirant, Mr Akan Okon, and adjudged same as unoriginal. The petition, as sighted by newsmen over the weekend, condemned a "damaging false report carried out by one Mr Wisdom Bassey who works online with Newsline9ja.com on the account of slander and libel against me in a newspaper publication by GLOBAL PILOT earlier this year."
