Obonganwan Glory Ekpo: Coasting to Victory in Etinan Federal Constituency

Level-headed, has a calm mien and poise which complement her feminity. Don't let that however mislead you, Obonganwan Glory Ekpo, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Etinan Federal Constituency seat in 2023 is made of a sterner stuff - the kind required by politicians to deliver results at the polls and in service.

Every indices suggest that she is the one billed to succeed Rt. Hon. Onofiok Akpan Luke as member representing Etinan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2023. Never in the history of the constituency has APC 

An astute administrator with consummate experience in the private sector, before venturing into partisan politics, she has over the years proven herself as one to be trusted.

Little wonder her candidacy has received rife support from Etinan constituents. It is her efforts at consolidating APC's efforts at rescuing the constituency that has earned her the ticket of the party. 

Loyalty personified, she has weathered the storms to stay and help build APC despite lures and overtures of non-existing greener pastures.

Akan Okon vs. Umo Eno: Prof Jideoni petitions security agencies against blogger for libel

Professor Jideoni Charles, a Professor of Professor of Graphognomy (Handwriting Analysis), Professor of English Language, and a linguist, has petitioned security agencies against an Uyo based blogger, Wisdom Bassey, over alleged libel. Prof Jideoni had carried out forensic investigation into the West African Examination Council certificate tendered by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Pastor Umo Eno, before the Federal High Court sitting in Uyo, in his case against governorship aspirant, Mr Akan Okon, and adjudged same as unoriginal. The petition, as sighted by newsmen over the weekend, condemned a "damaging false report carried out by one Mr Wisdom Bassey who works online with Newsline9ja.com on the account of slander and libel against me in a newspaper publication by GLOBAL PILOT earlier this year."
