Atiku

As the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar flags off his campaigns in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Monday, October 10, 2022; a chieftain of the party has described him as a better choice for Nigeria in 2023.

Obong Inuaeyen, who is the chancellor of Ibom Patriots, said Alhaji Abubakar, who served as Vice President of Nigeria under President Olusegun Obasanjo between 1999 -2007, as a square peg in a square hole.

Welcoming the presidential flag-bearer to Uyo, Akwa Ibom capital, on the start of his presidential campaigns, Inuaeyen in a goodwill message, noted that Abubakar remains the best choice for Nigeria from 2023.

“The earnest yearning of majority of Nigerians is for the right man with requisite character; experience and capacity to lead the nation into a new dawn come May 29, 2023.

“You are the man – a square peg in a square hole. You possess an unparalleled experience in politics, public service, business and social networking to give Nigerians a taste of quality leadership.” he added.

He therefore, on behalf of his family, Ini Local Government Area and the good people of Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, felicitated with the presidential candidate on his flag-off and wished him successes.

Obong Inuaeyen also assured him of his unflinching support as he takes steps to rescue Nigeria, added to the fact that Governor Udom Emmanuel, whom he described as the pride of Akwa Ibom State, is the chairman of the presidential campaign council.

“On behalf of my  family, Ini LGA and the good people of Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency, I  welcome you, your running mate, members of the Presidential Campaign Council, NWC and BoT to Akwa Ibom State (the home of PDP) as you kick-start your presidential campaigns enroute Aso Rock Villa.

“You have our unflinching support in your endeavour to rescue Nigeria, especially as our beloved Gov Udom Emmanuel (our pride) chairs the PCC. We wish you success and God’s abundant grace throughout your campaigns and the presidential election,” Inuaeyen added.
