AKWA IBOM SPEAKER CONDOLES WITH AIDE OVER FATHER'S DEATH

The Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey, condoled with one of his aides, Mr. Ekerete Sunday Edo,  over the demise of his father, Elder Sunday Umo Edo

Late Elder Sunday Umo Edo, was interred on Friday in Ukana Ikot Ide, Essien Udim Local Government Area, died at the age of 76.

In his condolence message, the Speaker described the deceased as a disciplinarian, a lover of God and a revered leader who committed his resources to the growth of his family, community and church. 

"Your late father was a disciplinarian and a lover of God. He was a revered leader who committed his resources to the growth of his family, community and church. He contributed positively to the wellbeing of all," he said.

The funeral service, which was conducted by Redeemed Ambassadors Apostolic Church, was well attended by sympathisers across the state.
