YPP will entrench good governance in Akwa Ibom - Inyangeyen

Senatorial candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District, Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen has promised Akwa Ibom people that Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, the 2023 governorship candidate of the party and other YPP candidates in Akwa Ibom State are tested, capable and efficient hands who would entrench good governance if elected in 2023.
Speaking over the weekend in Uyo during the grand reception of Senator Bassey Albert and other decampees into the party, Inyangeyen said the state has embraced YPP, labelling it "the beginning of a new Akwa Ibom State."
"I congratulate you for coming out, I congratulate YPP in Akwa Ibom State, I want to assure you that myself for Eket Senatorial District by the grace of God, my brother (Rt Hon Usenobong Akpabio) for Uyo Senatorial District and my colleague (Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ekon) for Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District and Obong Bassey Albert as Governor, we would make the difference. Thank you for joining the YPP, we will make the difference in good governance," he declared.
I came to announce that the people of Akwa Ibom State have decided to take their destiny in their hands, and therefore they've come to celebrate the new beginning with Obong Bassey Albert Akpan. I want to encourage other Akwa Ibomites who are not yet here (in YPP) to take advantage of this season and come to join the new birth of Akwa Ibom State. The past is gone, the present is here, the future is in your hands," Akparawa Inyangeyen added as he spoke further.
The event drew a huge delegation of party from the national level led by the National Chairman, Comrade Bishop Emmanuel Amakiri.
About 15,000 decampees officially joined the party, as announced by the state chapter during the event.
