Cross River State Govt Celebrate Corn & Pear Festival

On Sunday, July 24th, 2022, hundreds of corn and pear lovers converged in Calabar for the second edition of the food festival tagged ‘Ndia Ibikpod ye Eben 2022’. 

The event which was hosted at the Arts, Crafts and Cultural village is an agro-tourism initiative developed to boost tourism, foster unity and create a melting point for fun lovers in Calabar.
At 4 pm, The Hon Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, and the APC Senatorial candidate for the Cross River Central Senatorial District, Rt Hon Eteng Jones Williams declared the event open and commended the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon Eric Anderson and his team for hosting this year's edition of the Agro-Tourism event.

Some members of the Cross River State Executive Council, and top government appointees graced the occasion to join citizens who had thronged the Calabar Arts & Crafts Village for the occasion.
